You get up from the healing table feeling TERRIFIC! Your whole body feels lighter and more alive, your head and heart feel clear in a way that you can’t quite explain. Sure, you can drive just fine but the ordinary stresses of moving through traffic just doesn’t get to you the way it often does.
It can seem that just one session really did the trick and you can strike those issues that were worked on off your list.
Sometimes it does do the trick. Perhaps you have done a lot of work in self-awareness or in other healing modalities or in talk therapy, and the Biofield Tuning session was the last piece of the puzzle to complete the picture.
However, experience has shown that our deepest issues have many layers. The oft-used metaphor is that they are like layers in an onion. Peeling one away reveals another … and another … until you reach the core.
So, while there is a period of relief from the layer that was healed and balanced, often another aspect of the issue bubbles up in another form. Let’s say, you have problems in relationships. Maybe it was indicated that there are blockages and heavy electrical charges in the energy field surrounding the Heart Chakra. Makes sense if a person feels that they must guard their Heart because it seems that they are often hurt in relationships.
A Biofield Tuning session that targets the Heart, balances and neutralizes those blockages, and provides an expansive feeling after the session has successfully healed that layer. YaY! That leaves room for another, deeper layer to come up. Not to worry, you never lose the work you did to heal and balance the previous layer. You can ride that wave as long as you like.
Chances are, though, that at some point you will bump quite unexpectantly into someone who triggers a layer underneath. Moan. “I thought I worked on that !?!?”.
Using our example of “trouble with relationships”, another session might reveal that you think of yourself as a victim because of a Core Belief that you are unworthy. That often comes up in another Chakra, perhaps the Sacral. And once you start following that thread, you see that it affects most every area of your life. Self-sabotage or lack of success at work or social clumsiness, the list goes on.
I have to say, Unworthiness is surely the most prevalent Core Belief in our society, which is why I used that example. And so many of us are working on Heart issues. Even the Earth seems to have heaviness in her heart.
Let me suggest that you give careful thought to how much healing is required for you to be truly free to live a peaceful and fulfilling life. As a psychotherapist, I have bumped into many who talk about being abused in some way and then, with the proverbial sweep of the hand, declare that they have forgiven the perpetrator. Case closed. However, there is a deep restlessness there, or combativeness, or a deep void that requires constant work to try to fill.
It takes courage to look at the layers we all carry with us. It requires strength to face our issues. And it is the intrepid seeker who climbs over Resistance to make the appointment with a healing practitioner.
Go ahead, do it! This doesn’t have to be hard, we are the ones who make it that way. If we have a challenge to overcome, you can be sure that we are given the tools and opportunities to do so. You will see that the effort is worth it. The sense of empowerment is impossible to describe, it can only be experienced.
